Internet Safety

If you're using a computer that has absolutely NO access to the Internet, then you have nothing to worry about. On the other hand, if you're one of the billions of people connected to the Internet, you might want to consider some interesting facts. The FBI has created a partnership with the Internet Crime Complaint Center to analyze Internet crime. According to their 2007 Internet Crime Report, in 2007 there were over 219,000 complaints investigated by law enforcement and regulatory agencies worldwide. These complaints include various types of fraud, computer intrusions, spam/phishing emails, child pornography, and more. Over 90,000 of these complaints were referred to law enforcement agencies for further consideration.

The Purpose of this Wiki is to provide valuable information for safe Internet usage. Considering the above, you should do everything possible to protect yourself from being a victim. Follow the links below to learn how to use the Internet safely.
